Mathieu Valcourt, CPA, CBV, joins EC2 as a Partner. His arrival also marks the launch of our new business valuation services.
With nearly 20 years of experience in business valuation, Mathieu specializes in valuing privately held companies in the context of mergers and acquisitions, business succession and ownership transfers, corporate financing, and strategic and estate planning.
Throughout his career, he has advised entrepreneurs, shareholders, sellers, and buyers on valuation matters and transactional projects. He developed his expertise at international accounting and advisory firms, including seven years as a Partner at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton.
Mathieu also brings specialized expertise in intangible asset valuation, particularly for purchase price allocation, as well as impairment testing for financial reporting purposes.
